Clevite race bearings were developed primarily for use in NASCAR type racing where reliability of high revving engines is required. Identified by the letter H, these bearings are manufactured to withstand harsher engine conditions. Featuring un-plated hardened steel backing for better dimensional accuracy and bore contact and a medium level of eccentricity. Available with .001" extra clearence for standard sizes shafts which use suffix HX
